Did anyone see a black purse at Hope Highlands?

Stan

I'll get in touch with the Scott at the Center to let him know what we're proposing. I'm sure he'll give me some guidance on how to navigate the halls of the City of Cranston.

I'll post an update of my conversation with him and if it's positive, we'll figure a way of collecting the funds for procuring the barriers.

In the meantime those who agree should post a short reply on this site or a simple thumbs up so we can get a head count,

Richard

I am in, and will gladly contribute funds.....the tennis players will benefit also!....if we can get some of them on board

Stan,
I'm afraid that the city won't want something that isn't commercial grade. Probably looking at $2000-3000 or more for professional installation.
If you can get it done for $30-40 per person I'm in.

The fence is approximately 120ft each side by my very rough estimates. For that price on Amazon, I will see what can be done to get up to 2 lengths purchased by the city, covering the 2 sides most impacted by the wind. In part, it will depend on where our finances are as we begin the final quarter of the fiscal year. If wind screens are installed, it will be purchased by the City. Where players can help is putting up at the start of season and taking down at the end of the season. I will be in touch when I know it's possible to order.

Hi Scott,

That's fantastic! I've recruited some volunteers to do that. Thank you Scott.
